“Product Stewardship is the act of minimizing health, safety, environmental and social impacts and maximizing economic benefits of a product and it’s packaging throughout all life cycle stages.  The producer of the product has the greatest ability to minimize adverse impacts, but other stakeholders, such as suppliers, retailers, and consumers, also play a role.” CT DEEP   RRDD1  =   Limit 10 gallons per week as we do not have a lot of room to store paint! If the can is empty and the bottom is black – it goes in the trash.  If the bottom is silver and it is empty – it goes in the small metal hopper. We DO NOT accept spray cans.

Take 2 picks up all the electronics from RRDD1 and recycles them. This includes electronics, televisions, light wire such as Christmas lights, light bulbs and batteries.. The program is ONLY open for households, not businesses or schools. Please call Take 2 directly if you are a business of a school and you have items to be recycled- electronics or light bulbs.
